Today's taping was with Farai Chedeya of NPR's News and Notes. I like the vibe in that house. Today's topics:
Burial of the N-Word
My take: NAACP has a publicity stunt. At least it's a positive thing but how often do people need to be reminded of all this? Is this like every generation has to have somebody to remind them of how to act civilized. Sheesh! The NAACP needs to get a better job, a more serious job.
Hot Ghetto Mess
BET is in trouble with advertisers Home Depot over their latest foray into self-deprecation or minstrelsy depending on your point of view.
My Take: It's not the end of the world. We did survive Soul Plane after all. But seriously, where is the home training?
Michael Moore's Bloviation
My Take: The white Jesse Jackson is at it again. Does anybody take him seriously? It's not as if he's smart enough to have any credible solutions. He's a fool to go against CNN, especially if they do take him seriously. Actually, this is a fight I'd like to see. Still, how can anyone in their right mind compare the USA to Cuba?
Emergence of the Black Blogosphere
And we talked about what's going on in our own little bloggy worlds.
Good show.
