Justice vs Social Justice

I'd like to jump into this discussion because I think the distinction is very significant. I would simply argue that there is no such thing as 'social justice', that there is only justice. 'Social justice' would then be the satisfaction of revenge as directed by a distinct group within a society. In other words, social justice is not always just - it is extralegal. Systemic justice is not always just either, but it has the advantage of having formal checks on its power, whereas the only check on 'social justice' is the wisdom of citizens to ignore its demands.

Thoughts?
