I haven't been one to jump all over the NYT in particular, but today's front page photo really indicates how twisted their editorial decisions can be.
The caption reads: "A family from Beirut's suburbs, which were attacked by Israeli warplanes, sought refuge in a park." This has got to be the most deceptive coverage imaginable. Of all the parties involved in this conflict, the decision to put those least involved in creating or ending the hostilities on the front page just strikes me as more than irresponsible but misleading. It's nothing more than editorializing that it's Israel's jets against innocents. Deplorable.
Look back at this day in history. The front page cover is a family eating in the outdoors.
