My essay on royalty turned out to be a pooter and what James G said is absolutely right. Warrior Princess is the right term and that is an aspect of the conversation I completely forgot and dropped. Another thing happened however was that I got into the Hewitt podcast on Shakespeare and am revising my considerations about real royalty vs idealized and fictional. We all know that the world has suffered cabbage-heads for kings. Yet and still there is much to be said for that thing which kings must bring to mind which is the loyalty of men and the power to do with that power whatever it is they desire. A thoughtful crown must therefore deal with the gamut of morality, for he is wed to life and death decisions and the concept that only God rules over him. This then is the ultimate test of human morality and that is why I put any emphasis on royalty.
As for the princesses above, I would hope and work to see that they become warrior princesses and are so appropriately wed. More duty.
