and a dozen others. I am brought to mind of this in thinking about Hotel Rwanda, which has got to be the most recent best. But right behind that I would have to say the 'Devil in a Blue Dress', which brings us to Don Cheadle whose latest film 'Reign Over Me' has been accused of being another Magic Negro film. I'll definitely be seeing it because I like both Cheadle and Sandler. In fact, I really like what Adam Sandler has done - he is really our best everyman actor, and is doing a good job of stepping into Jimmy Stewart's shoes.
All that aside, I haven't been watching many art house films lately. Any good stuff from African filmmakers recently? Maybe we should ask around.
