From the June edition of Essence magazine, based on U.S. Census figures: "Black immigrants from Africa have the highest educational attainment of any group in the country. In 2000, 49.3 percent of African immigrants earned a college degree or higher, compared with 44.9 percent of Asian Americans and 32.9 percent of immigrants from Europe."
