The only one I know is Hamdan. He's the guy whose case went to the Supreme Court who decided that some of his rights to a speedy trial had been abridged. The others I don't know. I have heard some stories about some people on planes who have been harrassed, I think there was a manic depressive guy who was off his meds that the air marshalls dragged to the ground. Then there was an obnoxious git from Silicon Valley who made a stink over some hassle with the TSA. But other than these guys, I say there have been no serious curtailment of American civil liberties since 9/11.
You can find plenty of people to say that they're scared, or that they don't trust the government. Some will even go as far as to say that Osama has won, and America is less free than ever. But we know more about who is losing football games than we know about whom exactly is losing protection under the law.
So I open up the floor. I will bet a nickel that I can find more people bit by pit bull terriers by name than anybody can find people deprived of their civil liberties, by name.
