All evening I've been looking at the talented entertainers coming to the end of their careers during the 70s. There are still a lot of clips from the celebrity roasts on YouTube. When you see the likes of Red Skelton, Rich Little, Ruth Buzzi, Frank Gorshin, Foster Brooks, Phyllis Diller, Slappy White, the Rat Pack (of course), Kirk Douglas, Gene Kelly, Danny Kaye... Ah. You'd think our best is behind us. It was a golden age.
I started looking at impressions, and then I realized that it is becoming a lost art here. Sammy can even sing impressions, and he could dance them too.
