Every once in a while, JB White, fellow Conservative Brotherhood blogger decides to give some extraordinary length to an important political subject. Over at Rattler Gator he has compiled a set of arguments about the weakness of Obama today in ways you hardly ever hear in the same week, much less the same essay. There are some sterling paragraphs as well.
I like this one:
I keep asking black people, and will continue to do so, have you called George W. Bush a Hitler? A chimp? Stupid? Have you laughed at the outrageous slandering of Sarah Palin? Every far left liberal who has thrown out that kind of foolishness about the Governor of Alaska (the kindest thing many of them have grudgingly said is "empty suit") has telegraphed to black people exactly what they truthfully think of your grandmother, your aunt or your cousin, etc. Especially if they step off the plantation.
Echoing something I wrote about McCain's ability to play the identity and political correctness game, White agrees:
Do the math: if America votes in racial blocs across the board, do black people win? Now, lets extend that a bit further. In the phase two analysis above I presented an opinion from a white female Democrat that said gender trumps all else for her in this election.
Read the whole thing. It gets behind Obama and brings forward the logic that has always been true, but has been defied by the polls. Now is your chance to hear and understand if you haven't bothered before.
