If I may make a prediction it is that the next entity to get kicked to the curb and rolled over by the Obama juggernaut is going to be the NAACP. The Washington Times has a scoop about the behind the scenes maneuvering by attorneys at the NAACP to put pressure on the Obama DOJ to dismiss the case against the New Black Panthers. And so the anti-racist bona fides of the old rundown org are going to have to stand another round of withering scrutiny - this time against the ACLU and the SPLC, two other organizations who have lawyers tangled up in this voter intimidation case.
There are tighter situations that The One has wiggled out of but this is one that potentially puts him in the rhetorical jaws of Sarah Palin who called on the First Lady (clever) to repudiate the NAACP's charges against the Tea Party
All Palin blather aside, the real throw down seems to be this memo demanding to get a certain Christopher Coates back into the heart of the matter, whatever exactly that might be. I'm not so great in reading memos between sparring legal eagles, but there's something that Coates knows that some people don't want out in public, some of those people evidently in the NAACP, like one Kristen Clarke.
There seems to be an accelerating amount of beef here. Should be interesting to watch the NAACP melon get squished. Question is, how much of that will splash into Obama's face?

It's rather interesting that just a few days ago we were talking about the effectiveness of the anti-racist movement in the US, which I continue to mock and hound for a number of reasons. My other prediction is that if Abagail Thernstrom gets her name in print over this, she's going to end up being the Warren Christopher of this madness. That's what I would do if I were Obama because I don't think Holder has enough cred across the aisle.
