George Clooney's "The American". He's a morally compromised assassin in a foreign country of course. That's not 'The American'. Surely we'll hear more on that.
Well now it's down to NED and ESP. Whoda thunk? No South Americans in the World Cup Final.
The new Graphite Kindle DX is tempting me. Very tempting. I cannot bring myself to buy a first generation iPad when I know they're going to do the next one iPhone 4 style. Even so, I'm on the fence.
My new entry into playing the stock market is doing OK. I'm up after a month. I'm developing the habits of watching markets again. I'm nice and sensitive, and can feel it when I lose even 20 bucks. But I'm being patient. It's a very interesting thing to know that a bad day at the market costs no more than a mediocre Chinese dinner. How many times have I thrown away that much cash? It has been about 10 years since I dabbled, having sworn it all off just before the Dot Bomb. Or was it just after? I fail to recall. BTW, Dear suckers. Thanks for buying Tesla stock on last Wednesday. Elon Musk is the man, sans doubt. But you are a fool for thinking you could cash in on this stock.
Speaking of which, Dennis Prager speaks this morning about how it is that people remember their lives. For him, it all comes back to high school memories. My life, I think about in phases. I think I'm in Phase Ten but I could be in Phase 11. I never know exactly where the inflection point is until restrospect. If you don't know Dennis Prager, you don't know how Conservatives feel.
Here's a film short from Pixar. It's almost impossible to remember when such things were considered amazing.
