One of these days, hopefully not too soon, we are going to run out of people who knew and worked with Miles Davis personally. Until that time, you should make it your business to seek them out and discover what they have been doing. This man, John Bigham. You can't ignore him. He's got something that you know. Something unsaid. He's from my generation. I feel him like a brother. He plays the guitar upside down. His lyrics are like short declarative sentences that take a tangent off a fat soul. He nails it down without scratching the finish. Not trying to be too fancyfied. Not pretending to be more dirty than ordinary life.
