Imagine if you will, the following historical scenario. After the defeat of the Confederacy, and the failure of Reconstruction, the US offered African Americans control of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. The African Americans said NO because there were slaves in Florida, Georgia and other states too. 15 years later, they said, OK how about blacks get control of North Carolina and South Carolina, and they said NO, what happened to Mississippi? If we can't get Mississippi, what's the point? 20 years after that, the US offered Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina, and African Americans said, NO again.
At what point do you realize that there is just no pleasing these people?
In fact of course, African Americans received no such promise. There has never been and there never will be a two state solution to the problem of slavery. What makes us think that after 60 years there might be a two state solution to the mere theft of real estate? And exactly how long can the ever changing Palestinian authorities expect political support from the ever changing African American public?
How long? Not long.
