I think most critical theory generates praxis that cannot be organic, by definition. It can only work in an upscale bourgeios context, because it's essentially shopping research for ethical lifestyle choices. And still people don't know if red wine is good for you, waiting for the next round of PhD theses.
This is rather astounding given the (fake?) admiration for 'authentic' indigenous cultures who are operating on ancient wisdom and traditions of the sort rarely subjected to critical theory.
I think critical theory is an intellectual neutron bomb aimed at the modern metropolis. Then again, I'm sure some critical theorist might tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.
