amazing grace
internal external battle
blood weary happy strolling fires
invitation to life, worlds and conflict
fragments of love, wrestling
with the real deal.
all of you makes me think
of all of me, I take
you take. we create
a unity of
spirits and flinty hearts
no fair time for experiments
we are organic in the biosphere
everything is out and living, changing us
there is no forgiveness, no second chance
no protected class.
a hail of ideological pellet paragraphs
whip us in a gale gust of politics.
spit cursing into the force
we are a strident militia
of interlocked desire and
lunatic poverty.
how sweet the sound
that echoes from our private language
of eyelash kisses in the shelter
of a moment's respite
how bitter the torment
of enemies within without
peace orphaning impulses from
the sacrament of smiling
again we wake
waist deep in loam
arching sideways against
our roots knowing our eyes
philotrophic are only proper
our limbs meet
in triumph over gravity.
tears water
fruit is born
take, eat all of you
this is my body
given for you
do this for the remembrance of me.
